Default People Dropping in Random Arenas

Hi,

I am sure many of you out there are tired of going into Random Arenas battles only to have 1 or more of the people on your team drop. After all, it is random arenas, not 'keep dropping until you have your ideal team arenas.' I have a solution that I want to ask around about. How about droppers can not play any pvp mode (ra, ta, ha) for 20 minutes? Disconnects don't count in my idea, so u would be fine if you disconnected. But what if they really need to go somewhere? Such as if they are a child and their parents are telling them to get off of GW or you have to run across town? Well, that's the 20 minute time deferral, I don't think it is an unfair amount of time to go do a task that requires your immediate attention. It just plain out stops dropping from being an issue.

Ah yes, what about you people who never want to incur a death while doing pvp because you are going for the survivor title? Well perhaps anet can make it to where you can only get survivor on PVE characters, and that arena deaths do not count against your title for these PVE characters; the only death counts in arenas count on pvp chars, who can no longer earn the title of survivor (gosh it would be hard in pvp anyway).

I just am plain SICK of being dropped on, because then I cannot win any games in which the dropping occurred (usually). And it is not what the concept of random arenas should entail, where you basically pick your team.

Hope you hear this anet and do something to stop the insane drop rate!

Real real cute. I hope you are not an anet employee with a bad attitude like that.

I'll save the mods the trouble of quoting themselves:

READ FIRST - Suggestion Forum Guidelines
Alright people, as has become more obvious to me recently this forum needs a bit more organization. It's becoming very difficult and quite a hassle to keep ideas organized. Things such as repeat threads, threads with titles that have nothing to do with the suggestions, multiple suggestions in one thread---these sorts of things make it difficult for both moderators and the community to keep track of ideas that have been suggested here. Because of this, here are the new guidelines we'd like everyone to keep in mind and follow.

* Always use the search button before posting a new thread to see if your ideas been suggested before.
* Always check the stickied Index of Ideas to see if your idea can be found in there.
* If your idea is a slight change of another suggestion that's already been suggested, don't post a new thread on it, post it in the existing thread and continue the discussion over the general idea.
* Make sure your thread titles list your idea. Don't post threads with vague titles like "Greatest Suggestion Yet" when only in your post do you discuss your suggestion. Make sure your thread title states your idea, to keep things organized and less confusing.
* The practice of posting simple 'bumps' to threads when nobody is responding is discouraged here, and threads seen being 'bumped' without good reason and nothing new to add, will be closed. If you are going to 'bump' a thread, do so after a reasonable amount of time, and let your 'bump' post contribute something to the thread rather than simply taking the thread up to the top of the forum.
* Do not post "A Few Ideas" threads. If you have more than one idea ---first double check with the search button and the index thread to make sure they're fresh suggestions, and create a separate thread for each one with a relevant title.
* If you don't feel like creating a separate thread for each suggestion you have, post all of them in the Index of Ideas thread stickied at the top of the forum.
* Of course, keep this to suggestions only. Not builds, not rants or PvP vs PvE discussions, etc. This is the suggestions forum.
* Use the Search Button and check the Index thread to make sure you're not repeating an idea.
* Do it again.

There they are, stick to them so this forum can be kept as organized and straight forward as possible. Not only to make it easier for us as a community, but also easier for devs to read and respond.
